Alan, as I expected and your numbers validate, December's been a VERY wet month!

One thing you might change in your info. below is instead of 'Sept. 1, 2007 to Sept. 1, 2008' you might want to make it 'Sept. 1, 2007 to Nov. 30, 2007'.

Now remember ... these amounts are only overnight, a 24 hour total for
each previous day.  I always dump the guage each day some time between
0600 and 0700 
However. if we get a significant cloudburst during the day ... I shall
make note of it.
