I have observed how powerful the children of those poor Sicilian
immigrant families became, and wondered, "What would happen if the
children of wealthy families had the same desire and drive to
dominate American economics and politics, with the same willingness
to use violence, blackmail and coercion against their opponents?"

Even though we tend to call that government, "The Roman Republic",
when I review the historical actions of the early Roman Senate and I
see that it looks like battles for territory by mob families.
