[Grovenet] out on a limb again

The sites claim that he is a man with no hidden agenda and I would
have to agree that such a man would be a vast improvement over the
current office holder. It also says that he would institute a draft
if that is what it takes to restore his party. Hmmm. I would prefer
a man who says that he would restore the country because the country
is more important than any party, but since I am not totally opposed
to a draft I'll give him half credit for that one. His attempts to
shake off the lazy label and to rename the characteristic as more a
manifestation that he is not willing to play the political games is a
smart strategy to position himself as an outsider. It will take time
to see if it sticks because he has some high hurdles to overcome
inside his own party.
Gut feelings can be pretty strong. And they are good things. (Many
women have been saved from physical harm by paying attention to gut
feelings about danger.) Don't let people say that a good gut feeling
is not legitimate.
For me, I am a fan of Law and Order but that does not make me a fan
of Fred. Most of the time his is a law and order guy on TV but his
character has made some bum decisions confusing loopholes in
legislation with justice but that is nothing personal against Fred as
a candidate. That is just the writers trying to make the show more
interesting. His character on TV should be totally neutral as far as
whether he would make a good president.
I don't see a lot of concrete things that make him different than the
other republicans in the primary race at this point. So far they are
all just words to schmooze the donors and they are all pretty good at
that.
