I can understand your concerns. I'd just like to hear from Bob on the
legalities of it all.
Al Gore use the 'No overriding legal authority' trick too. For different
ends.
Mark Rich stole from the US Govt. (didn't pay taxes) and we couldn't do
anything about it.
Mexico won't extradite murderers to the US.
Wouldn't every soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan be at least charged with
harassment or some such?
You break a building code violation in Vernonia. Should the FG code
enforcers hunt you down?

Your reply reminds me of my conversation with the US Census folks. I did not
fill in the questions on race or hyspanicity. They called me to clear it up.
The way they explained it was that it didn't matter what race I was. What
mattered is what race I IDENTIFIED with.
In my own odd way I asked, "And how do I figure out which one I am
identifying with?"
