Theatre in the Grove is pleased to announce auditions for HONK! Jr.

Come audition for the show that beat The Lion King out of the Olivier 
award (the British equivalent to the Tony Award)! HONK! Jr. is a 
contemporary, musical retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's classic 
story, "The Ugly Duckling".

This production will be presented during the daytime for school 
audiences and, in addition, will hold two evening performances and a 
matinee for the public. The entire cast will be actors age 8 to 18. 
There are many strong roles as well as a singing/dancing chorus.

Prepared monologues and songs are welcome but not necessary. Please 
wear clothes and shoes you can move in. Bring dance shoes (jazz, 
ballet, and/or tap) if you have them.

Auditions: August 25 and 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Theatre in the Grove's 
Main Street Studio, 2011 Main Street, Forest Grove.

Performances: Mornings and afternoons October 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 for 
the schools, and October 24, 25 at 8:00 p.m. and October 26 at 2:30 
p.m. for the public.
