We/Parents Community ALL are WELCOME are having a get together meeting at the library 6-8 tomorrow 8/27.
We will have snacks and refreshments.  

We are working to gain support of the parents and the community at each and every school in the district. We
appreciate all those who are currently contributing to the schools and we encourage everyone to come, especially 
the experienced school volunteers/council  to help us fledgling volunteers/future council members.  

Our mini topics are :

Site Council:  What it is, why we can have a strong voice in the schools, why its important for us to participate, and last
DO YOU want to volunteer for this.  Holly Divelbess will be presenting some information and then looking for experienced
participants to help answer questions from potential council members.


Breaking Ranks/Breaking ranks in the Middle:  This book is referenced by our schools as best practices.  A quick overview and
how it relates to recent events/choices made by our school.  How we can use this GREAT reference book as a guide to help us
figure out what Should be happening.


Next meeting: Monica Gorman What is your vision for our school district.  We would like to have what is called an Open spaces meeting 
Sunday September 28th.  This kind of meeting is exciting.
