I suppose that Sarah Palin is the first major beneficiary of Hillary  
Clinton's cracking of the glass celling.  I do think that McCain  
chose her because of her gender.

We are told that she has stood up to the big oil companies, her  
husband is an oil worker, and she was on the Alaska Oil and Gas  
Conservation Commission.    Now we will learn something about her.

And we can see how well she fits the attributes listed earlier for a  
woman as McCain's VP.
