[Grovenet] God forbid there should be a Freudian slip

Of course the president of the country doesn't merely hold a title, but must make a lot of actual decisions (is war the right thing, etc.) ... even though he/she does depend on a lot of others to do certain work done and provide info. And depending on an individual voter's beliefs, the individual voter would try to learn which candidate would make better presidential decisions and choose the best cabinet -- in the voter's opinion. I don't think just anyone will do, and most voters don't.

Just as one example: I would not like a possible Pres. Palin only putting forward Supreme Court picks who are anti-choice (which it seems she probably would, since she's anti-choice herself). Of course, that just depends on my personal opinion as to which is better.

> would agree with you there,, which is why I think she would do just as good as the rest.. the president of a company hire tons of people under him to run it -- he merely holds title.. as an example -go to a docs office,, the nurse and reception do all the work,, you see the doc for only a tiny bit.. need tests? go to a lab or such else where they get read by someone else and then the doc tells you about it,, see someoone else did all the work but you say.. "doc x told me ..." -see what I mean about everyday people.. pick someone under you and then someone under them and so on. it would all get done anyways. Anyhow those are just the ramblings of a bored person at a keyboard!LOL
