[Grovenet] Montessori School hosts Scholastic Book Fair

Another gem for local bibliophiles is Main Street Books in Hillsboro. I've
been able to spend some time there recently (the owner, Lucinda, is doing a
bit of advertising with the News-Times).  It's a great collection of
classics and contemporary.  She, too, has a good selection of kids'
literature. With the demise of the Grove's used book stores, this is the
closest place to experience the joy of finding a great lightly used hardback
for $8.95. (Which is what I paid for a Studs Terkel collection)

I highly recommend these book fairs for folks who are looking for  
gifts for grandchildren.
These companies are knowledgeable about the interests of the school  
age kids and some of their gift sets are very good deals. And some of  
the little doodads that they have are very popular with the kids too.

PS I don't have a kid at this school and I don't work for the book  
companies, but I do strongly agree with Cecelia that these events are  
good sources for kids books.
