Yes, there is a cost for Chamber membership - would be happy to discuss
member benefits with you.

Can't disagree with you about businesses being notified - but an interesting
note -- Forest Grove doesn't have a "business license" fee (yet!) ...what we
have is a business occupancy permit -- that is part of the proposed change.

Is there a cost to chamber membership?  If yes, what benefits does one get
with a membership, other than a weekly news update?  

My $0.02 worth: Since a fee is charged to get a business license in Forest
Grove (just like all other cities), my expectation is the licensing entity
should directly notify license holders when a potential change in that fee
or license or both is being proposed.
