[Grovenet] Death Penalty

For the purely pragmatic, life without parole is cheaper than execution too,
thanks to the cost of all the appeals that must be accomplished first.
I, too, think taking a life is wrong under any circumstances. I can
understand taking a life in self defense. It doesn't make it right, but I
can understand the knee-jerk imperative for self-preservation that can cause
one to use deadly force when their life is threatened.
But I cannot conceive of a healthy society who ritually kills people, for
any reason.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to prove but I
don't believe we have the moral right to take a
life under any circumstances! And because insane
people do still doesn't make it right. Life
without parole is the answer.

If you are torn regarding the death penalty, as
I am, this might help you decide.
