It was interesting to see the Lexus-Nexus questions that Monica Goodling
used as she weeded out competent applicants...Jesus was one, guns
another.  I wonder what Jesus' precise position on guns is?  And does
Pat Robertson know it?  If so, how?  Is it taught in his "law school"?

Interesting question, since cases in Texas deal primarily with Spanish
as the first language. The same holds true in many areas of Southern
California. But, I have heard that the Los Angeles School District has
students with more than one hundred different languages as their first
tongue!!

Here's some
information which should be taken into account when we vote in November
on an initiative relating to English as a second language in schools.
Maybe we should attempt to make all of our students bi-lingual like
they do in Europe. (Oops!! I guess that brands me as an intellectual
elite, one of the most invidious classes under the current talk-radio
standards!!)
