Alan,

I certainly hope that the person who sent this to you does not  
present them self to the public as a competent "detective".

They have done no true investigation of the facts, and they have not  
done "due diligence" in the preparation of what they presented.

And you may tell him that I said so.

If you are willing to accept slip-shod detective work from people  
because they are your friend, I guess you should know what you are  
doing.  However, I would be concerned about having anyone "covering  
my back" who cannot recognize obviously planted "evidence".
