[Grovenet] And the truth shall set you free . . . .

Steven,
Is there someone you would like to see be President other than Obama or McCain?  Or, conversely if there's not someone you can name, what traits/experience are you looking for?
Personally I like Ron Paul and would like to vote for him.  Next on my list would be Obama with McCain as absolutely the candidate I will not vote for as this country can't take another 4 years of Bush policy.  But the problem is that with our 2-party system, my voting for Paul means it's one less vote for either McCain or Obama.  If I remember correctly, Ross Perot as an Independant in the 1992 election garnered so many votes that many felt he helped prevent George H. Bush from winning a 2nd term in the White House and also made it so Clinton won the Presidency w/o having the majority of the popular vote.  If I vote for Paul, my fear is it hurts Obama more than McCain.

THAT is the saddest I've read.
I think the open primary system has given us a mess of a system.
We have two senators running. The public opinion of congress is even lower
than the President's.
