Or how about August 29th in Phoenix last year when they hit their 29th straight day of the daily temp exceeding 110 degrees . . . "but it's a DRY heat" . . . right . . . like a sauna!
I was in Phoenix for 4 days during that spell and it was pretty darn warm.  I'd go running in the morning and it'd be close to 90 degrees at 6:00 AM.  I had to put a hotel towel on the steering wheel/dashboard during the day.
