[Grovenet] Bush thinks war is romantic.

When given the opportunity, the young Bush refused to check the option
for overseas deployment when he joined the Texas Champagne Air National
Guard. So, what we have here is yet another case of personal
revisionism...but then there are many good reasons for him to have
"forgotten" key elements of his sordid past.

Sheesh! A classic demonstration of the Reagan view of war... sure
it's romantic, as long as somebody else is doing the suffering and
dying, and the only real danger you face is a typo in your script, or
a bad makeup job... Is it really any wonder that good officers are
retiring like an assembly line? Even unemployment would be better
than listening to this sort of mawkish drivel from your commander in
chief!
