  Steve, upon what do you base this?? As a member of the legal profession, it is my impression that among minorities, the percentage of wrongfully accused and convicted (which is not necessarily the same as "innocent" - we have all done something illegal in our lives!!) may be as high as 25%!!  That is because so called victims rights have stoked the fires of "find someone and get them convicted"!! The numbers may be lower in Washington County, but may be astronomical in LA and Chicago.
