That's a thoughtful point. I did ask about that and she said the way she will use it the little piggies will not be able to get to it. They also are well cared for and have alot of guinea pig things that are proper to gnaw on. I had no idea how popular these little critters are. There is quite a bit of amusing information available on line, what a surprise.....for those of you who may know my dog, Rocky  is safe and will not be replaced by a guinea pig, nor will he have one for a playmate.
