Right on Ed. If nobody complained then people would think that GW
Bush was a great president.
But I disagree that McCain picked the wrong running mate. I think he
picked the perfect running mate because she is just like president
Bush. The war is God's will, drill to burn every last drop of oil,
lobbyists are great especially when they give you $ from Washington,
claim that you opposed earmarks when you really didn't*, dilute
science in science class, choose life but when I say 'choose' there
is no choice involved, etc. Instead of Bush and McCain being twins,
the three of them are just like triplets!

*In McCain's defense he actually did object to Palin's earmarks when
she requested them. He might not remember that little detail if his
old war wounds from his long ago and certainly honorable service are
hurting him at the moment, but he is on record as her requests were
'pork'. Of course that was the McCain of the 2000 era and not the
McCain of the 2008 era....
