[Grovenet] Attacks, praise stretch truth at GOP convention

Steve:
Note I said, "opinions and associations." If Obama has Rev.
Watzizname in his past, Palin has that anti-Semetic Identity-type
preacher in Wasilla, who proclaims Iraq to be Gawd's War against the
Infidels, and also that Alaskan Nation group that she has urged to
"keep up the good work." Anyone who imagines that Alaska, with the
highest per-capita federal assistance in the nation, could go it
alone (aside from "nationalizing" all its energy resources, a
temporary income at best) is displaying very questionable judgement,
in my humble opinion.
Since Russia is now feeling its oats and becoming aggressive with its
new energy wealth, what could prevent it from "reclaiming its
historic territory in Russian America?" The Alaska National Guard and
another man? With our army's capabilities now being frittered away in
Iraq, we certainly couldn't help much.
It is understandable that cabin fever and the annual winter booze-up
should lead some people to some surreal thinking during the dark
months, but for a politician to play along with those fantasies, even
for local political purposes, also seems to indicate very poor
judgement.
