Couldn't agree more, Steven: some of our finest citizens can indeed be total jerks. :-)
Don't know I'm in the grouping of "finest citizens" but what I can tell you is there's PLENTY of folks who can attest I have been a total jerk. :-)
To be fair about the traffic saturation, I do understand and can agree with the need to insure drivers are aware of the need to keep a safe distance from emergency and law enforcement vehicles when the vehicles and their occupants are with a motorist on the side of the road, *ESPECIALLY* on a major highway such as 26. We've all seen many times in the news the stories of law enforcement personnel getting injured or killed by a driver. A close relative of mine in Ohio is permanently disabled because of a driver in just such a scenario on a major highway where the driver did not move over into the high-speed lane, thought he could safely get by the officer (my relative), and ended up hitting the officer.

Great opportunity for our finest to be total jerks. I'll be sure to take
back roads and avoid Corn town.
