I have actually wondered why it was government responsibility to give our $40 coupons?

Any thoughts on that?

My opinion is......   no matter how many warnings you give people, how many different ways you inform them, no matter how much time you give there are going to be people who "didn't know" or aren't prepared. It will be tragic when they miss their favorite episode.

They delayed it a few years ago to be after the super bowl.
2006 was the original deadline. They moved it to Feb of 2008 but congress
wanted it to happen after the election so it was moved to Feb of 2009, after
the superbowl specifically.
