Hello Ross
Of the list of businesses. I actually just seen on the news the other night
about Hot Lips Pizza. They are using NEVs to deliver pizza and were having
problems with their insurance company insuring them. This business should be a
member and a supporter of the group.

Hey guys,
We should consider what some more contacts with local BigCo.'s can
help us accomplish. The list below of companies that attended the
presentation may have sympathetic ears for our ideas. With our
non-profit status we could also solicit for Grants from organizations
like the Meyer Memorial Trust and such.
What would we do if we had a budget? Conversion workshops? a better
display for events? greater resources for members?
...Ross...

There is a factory made Dodge Caravan on eBay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=454921828
6&category=6193
http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/008.html
"This is an electric version of a Dodge Caravan, one of 56 built by Chrysler
as a test program. One half of the vans were equipped with Eagle-Pitcher
Nickel-Iron batteries, and one half with SAFT Nickel-Cadmium batteries.
Mine is one of the second group. This van gives a very good idea of what is
possible if the auto industry decided to build EVs. It is fully equipped
with seating for five, dual airbags, power steering, power brakes, and a
very powerful electric heater. The batteries are conservatively rated for
100,000 miles of service."
