I checked out the website.  Thanks for the info.  Didn't see anything on
Lithium Polymer batteries of Nickel Metal Hydride.  Both would offer better
range due to the weight to energy ratio.

 

Have you seen any info on kits using these or anyone who uses these in their
conversion car?

My name is Dan Dougherty and I pulled this email address from a website
giving local chapters for the Oregon Electric Vehicle Association.  I own a
restored '73 TR6 and would like to convert it to an electric car.  I plan to
do most of the work myself and am looking for books or other sources of
information to start educating myself and planning the project.  I would
certainly appreciate any advice you could offer or any websites, people,
etc... to which you could refer me.
