Hello OEVA members,
Thanks to Myles for sending out the request for information. I would have sent this out
sooner if my internet connection hadn't been down over the weekend.
Myles is correct in that a brown paper bag containing all of the OEVA Treasury
records, including all the personal information people wrote down on their membership
forms, was left at the end of the November OEVA meeting. We learned about this
at the December meeting last Thursday.
If anyone saw this bag or has any information about it, please reply back to the
oeva-list at oeva e-mail list or e-mail a board member. You can contact the board
through the "contacts" page on the OEVA website or send e-mail to me at
tim_kutscha at yahoo dot com. If you send e-mail to oeva-board at googlegroups
dot com, it will probably bounce back.
While this is a tragic, unfortunate incident, this is by no means devastating for
the organization. Rest assured that I'm working with our current treasurer,
Ray Blackburn to quickly remedy the situation.
For those of you who paid your membership dues through PayPal, you probably
received a notice saying that your membership was canceled. For security reasons,
the OEVA_Treas e-mail and PayPal account have been closed and the records
saved. Rest assured that we have a list of the canceled memberships and will
keep track of them until we can get a new PayPal account started.
Again, please send any information you have about the whereabouts of the records
sack to myself (tim_kutscha at yahoo dot com) or this list. If you don't feel
comfortable contacting me or the list, please contact Gary Graunke at
<gary at whitecape dot org>.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to remedy this situation.
Cheers,
Tim Kutscha

Subject: [Oeva-list] Plea for help in finding OEVA Treasurer Archives
Fellow OEVA members-
This week the OEVA Board was informed that the OEVA Treasurer Archives were
inadvertently left in the regular meeting room at the PGE building after the
NOVEMBER OEVA meeting. The information was in a brown paper bag. IF ANY OF
YOU have any information about this, if you saw the bag, or best, if you
HAVE the bag or know where it is, please let someone on the OEVA Board
know---or email this list.
The Board was notified of this loss on Friday, after the DEC Meeting.
Since we want to find this information and correct this situation, I'm
jumping in here to inform you all.
Please, if you know anything, please help here.
OEVA Board Email: oeva-board at googlegroups.com
Thanks.
-Myles Twete (I have no stake in this---just doing what seems right here...)
