A gas tax of 40 cents a gallon would yeild approximately 240 BILLION Dollars
a year, according to some, that could be used for EV's and high CO2 Fuel
alternatives..

To soften the effect on the economy it could start at 20 cents ie ~$2 a
gallon now and ramp up 2 cents a week until you hit a minimum base for
gasoline of $3 a gallon for regular....
