What is preventing EVs from being the tech of choice for personal
transportation? It is not the motors or controllers, it is energy storage.
It's the batteries.

200+ miles of batteries is expensive. You could argue (and I would) that
most people don't need more that 50 miles of range, but 200 miles of range
gets rid of "range anxiety".

Does a switch to EVs create a new foreign dependence?
Will it cause "peak Lithium"?
What is next in batteries?
How much better can we expect energy storage to be in 10, 20, 50 years?
