Hello Nick,
Did you try uship.com?  They take your information on what
shipping you need and send it out for bids to numerous
contractors.  You then get to decide which shippers you want to
deal with based on schedule, price, etc.

I'm having a devil of a time finding a serious cost effective
carrier to
bring my eBay'd Bad Boy Buggy (golf cart thing) from TN to
Oregon.  Any
suggestions?  All the eBay recommended vendors reneged on their
quotes.
Very dissappointing.
