In defense of EcoTality, there's a bit of a backlog on the home stations,
and the Blink pedestal charger for public installation only got UL(?)
approval a month ago.

The current rollout of charging infrastructure is meant to be an
experiment, both to study usage patterns, and to test/debug the rollout
process before the major deployments happen.
