[Oeva-list] Fw: Machine shop

Folks,
I am in the process of converting my vehicle into an EV and has been using a machine shop located in Cornelius. I was introduced to him by Nev Okyoy (another OEVA member). His name is Joe Strasburg 503-693-8578. He has a nice machine shop and his fees are very reasonable. You may want to meet with him and see his shop before you decide.

Thanks,
Sham Datta.

Hi All,

I used this machine shop several years ago for lightening a flywheel for a 914EV conversion and they did an excellent job. Not sure how they're doing these days.

Cheers,
Tim

Hi,

there's one a couple of blocks from me it used to be called "Dales" but it has been purchased recently and I don't remember what the new name is.
Its on N. Killingsworth some where between 1600 and 2201 N. Killingsworth St.
Sorry can't be more help.

I've followed this list for a number of years. A few months ago I started my EV project. I'm looking for a supplier that can provide a taper-lock hub for mounting my flywheel to the electric motor (I'm keeping the clutch). Can anyone recommend a machine shop in the Portland area?

Joey
