[Oeva-list] Hollywood Theatre Marquee Project

The Hollywood Theatre* in Portland Oregon, where OEVA members viewed the "Revenge of the Electric Car" screening, is fundraising via Kickstarter to replace their failing marquee.  There are about 8 days left in their fundraising campaign, and they need about $5,000 more to reach their $55,000 kickstarter goal.  Over 850 donors have already pledged; funds have also been pledged by the Meyer Memorial Trust, Kinsman Foundation, and Hollywood Boosters.  PDC funds were sought, but were not available. Minimum Kickstarter contribution is $1.00.  There are some nice thank you gifts for larger donations.  Since the Hollywood is a 501(c)3 organization, contributions are tax deductible. Kickstarter deadline is Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at 4:15pm pacific time.
