Hi OEVA folks,

Welcome to the world of online meetings.

For the month of June, the meeting will be held online using Zoom video
conferencing software at 7:00-9:00 PM, June 11. I hope you can join us as
we are having a guest speaker.

The meeting will start at 7:00PM but join a couple of minutes early if you
have not used zoom before. To join from a computer/tablet/laptop/phone,
you can use this link:

(if needed, this will install software from zoom. Answer "yes" if it
asks for permission).

If you move your mouse/cursor over the Zoom window, several features will
appear. (Note that tablets and smart-phones may differ....)

Since everyone is in one big room, it helps to turn off your microphone
when you're not actually talking. You can do this with the microphone icon
at the lower left of the Zoom window. When it shows a red slash, your mic
is off.

At the top right corner you will see either "Speaker View" or "Gallery

- In Gallery View the attendees show all at once in a grid of little
windows. If there are more than fit on one screen, then there are scroll
arrows to the side.

- In Speaker View the person speaking shows in a large window.

--- During presentations, the presenter can force a version of speaker view.

Also at the top right corner will be an icon that enters or exits "Full

At the center bottom of the window will be an icon for "Chat". This opens a
window which lets you send/receive text to all or one of the participants.
It goes to all unless you select a participant at the bottom of the chat

I hope to see all of you on Thursday night at 7pm.
