Our three-part course is designed to introduce beginning and 
intermediate collectors to the
basic technical information and historical traditions that both guide 
and enhance the pleasures of collecting books and other printed 
materials. Class presentations will be shaped, to some degree, by class 
members’ collecting interests.

Charles Seluzicki has been an antiquarian bookseller and fine press 
publisher for over thirty years. He is a long-time member of the 
Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and has worked with many 
private collectors and public institutions both at home and abroad. In 
spring term, he teaches “The Archeology of the Book” in Portland State 
University’s publishing program.
