The Fabbri Series: new paintings by Jeff Diteman

The Fabbri Series is comprised of oil portraits of Portland artists: dancer
Linda Austin, John Niekrasz and Seth Brown of Why I Must Be Careful, Brian
Mumford of Dragging an Ox Through Water and Jackie-O Motherfucker, noise
musician Daniel Menche, Kathy Foster of the Thermals, poet James Yeary,
Adam Baz and Patrick Phillips of BRAINSTORM, and dancers Jin Camou and Lucy
Yim.


galleryHOMELAND will be hosting the series for the months of February and
March. Events are planned for February 3rd, February 17th, March 2nd and
March 23rd. Sponsored in part by the Historic Ford Building, Widmer
Brothers Brewing, and galleryHOMELAND.


For the February 3rd opening, there will be a cabaret of the anti-magnetic
variety featuring performances by John Berenzen, Leo Daedalus, Mack
McFarland, Mark Owens, David Weinberg, and James Yeary, in various
ensembles. The evening will include "Boggle for Doppelgangers," Jeff
Diteman's "Interruptionist Manifesto" and will culminate in a special
collage/homage/performance entitled "Everything Must Go."
