Tom has created a page for Tom Jr's updates on the Caringbridge
website. I have just been looking at it and it is a really neat
website. I saw an article on the website right after the accident
and at the time thought it might be something they could use. It
will make sending updates much easier for them.
Since the website is something you all can access directly, and not
something I can easily forward like the e-mail messages, you will no
longer receive updates from me. You can check it at your
convenience, either daily, or periodically. Please at least look at
it once to see what it is like. Also, please continue to keep Mom
informed. The website pages print beautifully.
If you have questions, let me know.

> Dear friends & family:
> We’ve heard from several of you that you’re not getting our
> updates. This is due to the ever-expanding email distribution
> list, and some of the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) efforts to
> block spam. Their software sees a large distribution of email from
> one address, then blocks it from being received by their
> recipients. While ours is not spam, the ISPs have no way to tell,
> so they arbitrarily block mail traffic of this nature.
> In an effort to alleviate the problem and ensure that you are
> receiving timely updates, I’ve created a web site at CaringBridge.
> The site is designed to keep you up to date on Tom Jr.
> (CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization that helps friends and
> families stay connected).
> You can visit Tom 's CaringBridge site at http://
> If your e-mail program does not allow you to click on the above
> link, just copy and paste the address into your web browser's
> address (or URL) location.
> Please visit our CaringBridge site anytime. You can use the site to
> check in on Tom , read the journal entries and send us messages by
> signing our guestbook. When you register with CaringBridge and sign
> our guestbook, you will automatically receive e-mail notifications
> each time our journal is updated. Or, you can subscribe to receive
> these notifications even before you sign the guestbook. (Of course,
> you can unsubscribe from these e-mail updates at any time.)
> Please print and save this e-mail for future reference.
> CaringBridge is a free, nonprofit web service that connects family
> and friends to share information, love and support during a health
> care crisis, treatment and recovery.
> again, thank you for the love, prayers, and support that you’ve
> given to us. We truly appreciate all of you.
> God bless!
