CW is allowed in all amateur bands but is usually found in RTTY/data bands. Usual spacing in shortwave broadcast bands is 5 kHz. Frequencies above 10000 kHz tend to propagate better during the day; frequencies below 10000 kHz tend to propagate better at night.
