One of the rarer japanese maples, this small, variegated leaf variety can show unusual colors of purple, green and white as seen in this plant grown in about 3 hours of filtered sunlight. Introduced in Pennsylvania in 1962, this variety has yet to 'make the rounds'. A little like Ukigumo but not nearly so pale and not so large. Unique. Zones: USDA 6; Sunset 2-10, 12, 14-24, Alaska-3.
