The Lion's Mane maple grows densely with a relative thick trunk. Interesting leaves and outstanding fall color add to it's attraction. Grows very well in a pot of any size and needs little or no pruning--a natural bonsai. Fall color gold changing to orange. Zones: USDA 4-9; Sunset 2b-6, 14-17, Alaska-3.
