Azara serrata is an evergreen, upright shrub or small tree with bright, glossy foliage.  Thick bunches of fragrant yellow flowers in latge spring.  Larger flowers bloom later than the more commonly encountered Azara microphylla.  This plant grows typically less than 10' tall.
