One of the choicest dwarf mugo pines, Sherwood compact grows slowly and very densely.  Typical growth is 1-2" per year.  This pine likes at least 4 hours of direct sun to keep its compact habit.  Grows very well in a pot and makes an excellent bonsai or conifer for a trough or rock garden.
