This alpine willow is a large-leaved ground cover from the mountains of Japan. It is covered with fuzzy white catkins in the spring, fresh green through the summer, and then clear yellow to orange in fall. It grows very well in a pot and is an excellent choice for bonsai in spite of it's large leaves.
