Description of the package
The aim of this shareware package is to produce easy to understand and powerful stats
analyser. You can configure it at your wishes.
Graphical and textual informations are used to have a better view of the 'success'
of your WWW server among Internet users.
Other stats package produce long, long textual informations or need specific
graphical software to be installed. W3Perl have both interface and only use free and
widely used applications.
You don't need to access root directory to install the package. It could be run from
your own directory.
To download the last version, you need to fill the form:
First things to know :
- The package run on CERN, NCSA, Apache htppd server...the log file format
is the usual one : the common format. It works now with the extented common log
file used by the new NCSA httpd.
- It should run now on a NT server without problems (including graphics).
- You have some systems variables to setup and others for customizing your results
in the config.pl file.
- You should ensure that the httpd log file is readable. If not, contact your
administrator system.
