These charts compare corner velocities, sustained turn speeds (no flap and full flap) and their radii. Also included are maximum turn times, starting at corner velocity and pulling maximum G's
Corner Velocity was taken from the G Limits Study. Corner Radius was calculated, assuming a 9 G limit at Corner Velocity, using the equation radius = velocity^2 / G_limit. Sustained No Flap Speed was determined by loading 10 minutes worth of fuel, and flying a max-g left turn at 1,000ft until the speed stabilized. This was done for the "No flaps" setting and "Full flaps" setting. The 360 degree times were taken from previous individual plane tests. Sustained Turn Radii were determined in two steps. First, the circumference of the circle was determined via Circumference = 360_time * Speed. This was converted to radius via Circumference = Radius * 2 * Pi.
