Tillamook Air Museum Pictures

The Tillamook Air Museum is a WWII airplane museum found in Tillamoork, OR. It resides in a WWII Blimp hanger, used to house blimps that helped patrol the coastline for Japanese Submarines. The planes on display there are all working models.

A friend (Sean Mckannay, aka "mmac" in WB) and I visit the museum regularly, and last trip we took his digital camera with us and snapped a few photos of some of the planes we saw. Below are some of the photos we took.

Spanish Bf109 with Merlin Engine (built for the movie Battle of Britain)

F4U-4 (I think, it had 4x20mm cannon)

P38J or L (with dive flaps, note how the wing is a "v" inside of the booms, WB's 3d models do not have this)

Tuskegee P51D

Two-Seater Trainer Spitfire
