DESCRIPTION
Standard DR1616 configuration
DR1616 is a Dallas Semiconductor IC based temperature/data recorder. It combines a Real Time Clock, temperature sensor, and three input mux'ed 8-bit Analog-to-Digital Converters.
The datalog function samples data at a user-defined sample rate and writes the data to the Datalog memory. A total of 2048 samples of data may be recorded.
The DR1616 provides programmable high- and low-temperature trip points that allow the device to monitor whether the data stay within desired limits.
The device is set up, and collected data uploaded via serial port RS232 interface to the computer using a graphical user interface application running on either Linux or Windows.
