Alternative cooling invention - Arctic Air

Arctic Air on display at the ski resort convention in San Diego

Patented design utilizing cold outside air for supplemental cooling in walk-in coolers used in restaurants and other food establishments enjoying the favorable conditions. Besides electrical energy savings, the device extends the life of a compressor and stored goods by replacing the acid rich acid vapors with fresh air.
Number of units were installed at Ski resorts. The closest one to see is running at Mt.Hood Ski Bowl. The unit was displayed at a Ski resort convention in San Diego, where the picture was taken.
