Python is a possible successor language to Perl in the world of CGI programming. It is an object oriented language, said to be easier for beginners to learn than Perl. For an old phart with decades of experience using procedural languages, wrapping my head around Python is proving difficult. This book, however, is very well written and replete with exercises that have hastened the process.
