| The United States has had a large number of different trade agreements with Canada. The following are some of the big agreements that they have had in the last 40 years. |

U.S. CANADA AUTOMOTIVE AGREEMENT (AUTO PACK) |
| In 1965 the United State and Canada signed the Automotive Agreement that most people named ( "Auto Pack), which provided for free trading in cars, trucks, and auto parts. This agreement was added to NAFTA when Canada signed it. Auto trade went from $715,000.000.00 in 1964 to $58,000,000,000.00 in 1992 This is the largest incress for any item group in US history. |

UNITED STATE-CANADA TRADE AGREEMENT (CFTA FTA) |
| The CFTA Trade Agreement (some time called FTA Agreement) went into force on January 1, 1989 between United States and Canada. This agreement was ment to eliminate all tariffs on US-Canada trade by January 1, 1998. This did not happen, |
| When NATA went in being this agreement was included in that agreement. Under this agreement all food products duty wentr to $0.00 on January 1, 1998 but others were lowered but not over as of now. They are comming down. |

FISHERIES ENFORCEMENT AGREEMENT |
| The Uinted States and Canada signed the bilateral Fisheries Enforcement that served to deter illegal fishing activity. This is an extension of the Pacific salmon treaty in 1985. |

NORTH AMERICAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT (NAFTA) |
| In 1994 the North American Free Trade Agreement was signed and took in all the treaties that were in power at that time. For information on this treaty click here. |

AVIATON AGREEMENT |
| President Clinton signed for the US the air traffic treaty in 1995 with Canada that will govern air traffic between the two counties. |
|
| This cover most of the treaties between the two countries that effect trade if the last 20 years. |
