There are a lot of different ways to prepare frankfurters. The following was given to me by a e-mail and it covers different ways to fix frankfurters.

Appetizers: Cut frankfurters in bite-size pieces, skewered on a toothpick or use small ones and follow the instructions on the other web page in this set.
Texas Hots: Cook and place on a toasted roll, and then cover the frankfurters with cooked chopped meat, chili, and chopped onions.
Cheese Stuffing: Cut frankfurter lengthwise but not complete through. insert pieces of cheddar cheese and then wrap with partially cooked bacon. Cook the frankfurter until the bacon is cooked.
Chili: Serve gridded frankfurters with chopped chilis and sour cream.
French: Prepare a garlic butter and add chopped chives and parsley. Spread on rolls and then insert grilled frank and a slice of cheese.
Cheesefurter: Insert a frank in a roll and then cover with pickle relish and a slice of cheese. Cook until cheese is melted.
|
There are a lot of other ways to prepair frankfurters, such as green tomatoes, corn dogs, etc. This article will only cover a few ways.
