| This web page is an old time recipe on how to make mint juleps. This is an old time Southern drink. |

| 2 ounces bourbon or whiskey. |
| 3-4 fresh mint leaves. |
| 2 -3 tablespoons club soda. |
| Glass of crushed ice. |
| 1 teaspoon superfine sugar |
| Fresh mint sprigs for garnish. |

| Bruise the bottom of a chilled glass with the mint leaves with a long handled spoon. Add the club soda and sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar with the mint. |
| Fill the glass to the rim with crushed ice and pour the bourbon or whiskey over the ice. Garnish with the mint sprigs. |
