MINT JULEPS

by Ted Peterson
This web page is an old time recipe on how to make mint juleps. This is an old time Southern drink.
If you let me know of a good recipe that would go in this set, I can add to this web page. Use the e-mail address at the end of this page.
2 ounces bourbon or whiskey.
3-4 fresh mint leaves.
2 -3 tablespoons club soda.
Glass of crushed ice.
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
Fresh mint sprigs for garnish.
Bruise the bottom of a chilled glass with the mint leaves with a long handled spoon. Add the club soda and sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar with the mint.
Fill the glass to the rim with crushed ice and pour the bourbon or whiskey over the ice. Garnish with the mint sprigs.
Good Luck.
